The next meeting of the IOBC/WPRS Working Group “Pheromones and Other Semiochemicals in Integrated Production” will be held in Dossenheim, Germany, from March 8 to 12, 2026. The conference will be hosted by the Julius Kühn-Institut (JKI), Institute for Plant Protection in Fruit Crops and Viticulture.

Following the success of our previous workshops, we are very pleased to continue this tradition and to provide a stimulating forum for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and ideas. After years of rapid progress in semiochemical research and application, we believe that our community is ready to explore new opportunities and face the challenges of sustainable crop protection in a changing world.

The theme of the 2026 workshop will be:

Pherosphere – 
Pheromones and Semiochemical-based Pest Control, Chemoecological Research for Resilient Agroecosystems

The meeting will bring together scientists, students, and practitioners working on the development and application of semiochemicals in integrated pest management. Topics will range from mating disruption and attract-and-kill approaches to the role of semiochemicals in supporting beneficial insects, new dispenser technologies, AI-assisted monitoring tools, and the impact of climate change on chemically mediated interactions.
The program will include plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations, and ample opportunities for discussion. A social dinner on March 11 2026, will provide an additional occasion to network and strengthen collaborations in a convivial atmosphere.
English will be the official language of the meeting. The proceedings, including oral and poster contributions, will be published as extended abstracts or full papers in the IOBC/WPRS Bulletin.
