The Young Scientists Meeting (YSM) is an annual event organised by and for young scientists at the Julius Kühn Institute. The YSM consists of a two-day seminar on cross-disciplinary topics such as scientific writing, research data management or biostatistics. At the subsequent three-day conference, the young scientists have the opportunity to present their current research results in the form of posters or talks and to network with other young researchers from the JKI. The YSM takes place every year at a different JKI location and allows participants to get to know the JKI in all its diversity through the wide range of topics of the contributions and the presentation of the different JKI institutes.
The YSM is open to all young researchers at the JKI who are working towards a doctorate or who have completed one within the last two years.
